Great Clips® releases fierce elements collection as spring style trends
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (February 5, 2020) — For the second time, Great Clips, Inc. has launched a trend collection of haircuts for Great Clips® stylists to offer to customers. “Fierce Elements by Great Clips” puts a modern spin on trendy haircuts that incorporate texture and movement in a combination of clipper-cutting and razoring techniques.
Traditionally, Great Clips, Inc. partners with its product vendors to release the product vendor’s trend haircuts twice a year. In 2017, Great Clips Inc. joined the trend releases by creating its first trend haircut collection, “Disheveled by Great Clips.” Fierce Elements by Great Clips is an elevated follow-up and was produced by Great Clips, Inc. education services specialists.
Joni Bierman, Great Clips, Inc. Education Services Specialist, designed the male haircut, the Ares. The Ares cut is a modern men’s bi-level fauxhawk that demonstrates a combination of short sides and textured lengths. Joni was inspired by Great Clips Mohawk Warrior Monster Jam driver Bryce Kenny.
Scott Sellers, Great Clips, Inc. National Education Services Specialist, designed the female haircut, the Fallon. The Fallon cut is a contemporary pixie that demonstrates disconnection and asymmetry. It is a short, easy-to-style cut that fits with an active lifestyle.
Training for each trend collection is offered as part of the Great Clips Academy program. Great Clips Academy is a blended learning program combining online courses and in-person training to create a cohesive, customizable and comprehensive training and development experience for stylists employed by franchisees in local salons. Stylists work with their managers in the salon before attending an in-person training. This in-person training further refines their understanding of the Great Clips brand and the customer care system.
